Hyundai Warranty
Each new Hyundai comes with the Hyundai Canada warranty coverage covering defective workmanship and materials that need to be repaired or replaced under normal use and regular maintenance. This coverage includes a comprehensive 5-year/100,000 km warranty and 5-year/unlimited-kilometre 24-hour Roadside Assistance coverage, among other covered systems. What is the Hyundai Roadside Assistance Program?
This program provides roadside assistance in the US and Canada. It operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. For 2014 model years and older, this coverage applies for up to 3-years.
What does Roadside Assistance cover?
This service provides you with towing services to the nearest Hyundai Dealership or Authorized Service Facility if your vehicle breaks down. You can also get roadside services such as a jump start, lock-out service, flat tire change, or gas delivery at no additional charge. It also provides you with a Trip Interruption Benefit.
What is the Trip Interruption Benefit?
If you have a breakdown over 100 kilometres away from your home, you may be able to get reimbursed for your expenses. The event has to be a warranty-covered mechanical disablement and can be used with overnight repairs. The limit for reimbursement is up to $300 per trip interruption and applies to meals, lodging, or alternate transportation.
What is the reimbursement process for the Roadside Assistance Trip Interruption Benefit?
Save your original receipts for eligible expenses such as lodging, meals, and alternative transportation. You will need to send this along with a letter of explanation to Club Auto, Roadside Services LTD., 60 Commerce Valley Dr. East, Thornhill, Ontario, L3T 7P9.
